Vasile Bodnărescu
(b. 1881, Marginea, Romania – d. May 31, 1926, Romania)
Vasile Bodnărescu, a lawyer and a politician, completed his studies in Rădăuţi, in Bukovina. Having involved himself in the national movement of Romanians in the province, he was elected to the Romanian National Council on October 27, 1918. He participated in the General Assembly of Bukovina as a delegate and voted for the union of the province with Romania on November 28, 1918. In recognition of his merits, he was appointed a member of the delegation that presented the Declaration of Union with Romania to King Ferdinand I.
His political career continued after 1918 in United Romania as a Member of the Parliament.
